The 7th Teikyo University Research Exchange Symposium was held atItabashi Campus

The 7th Teikyo University Research Exchange Symposium was held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus. This symposium has been held annually since 2018 as a forum for faculty and staff to share information and exchange on the latest research activities across campuses and across disciplines. Following on from last year, this year's 7th symposium was held in a hybrid format across all campuses, with panel discussions held on-demand and poster sessions held on-site. Despite unfortunate weather, the poster session was attended by 414 people, primarily faculty members, and featured 296 posters, the largest number to date, providing a meaningful opportunity for lively exchange of opinions.

Institute of Cultural Properties The on-demand panel discussion was moderated by Makoto Asashima, Director of Teikyo University Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization and Special Appointment Professor, and featured panelists Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga, Sawako Hanyuri, Special Appointment Professor, Mamoru Mitsuishi, Director Professor, Hirotaka Kono, Director School of Medicine and Professor, Kazuya Yamauchi, Director Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering Department of Biosciences Associate Professor and Takae Hirasawa, Director . Under the theme of "Future Research at Teikyo University - Improvement of Comprehensive Strength and Brand Strength," the panelists reviewed the past Research Exchange Symposiums and discussed issues and goals for future research promotion from the perspectives of all fields.

It is hoped that through the presentation and exchange of various research results at this symposium, new cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborative research projects will be created that transcend the boundaries of fields.
In order to continue fulfilling one of the responsibilities of a university - contributing to society - we will continue to cultivate various knowledge through research at the university and promote initiatives that can give back to society.
