On Saturday, July 13, 2024, the Teikyo University Hachioji Campus Athletic Bureau held its second leadership training session and the seventh Hachioji Campus Athletic Club Liaison Council for members, coaches, and advisors of athletic clubs and designated intensive clubs. In the first half of the leadership training session, Takayuki Nakano, head coach of the university's Ekiden (Road Relay) Club, gave a lecture on compliance initiatives using Ekiden (Road Relay) Club as an example. In the second half, a police officer from Minami-Osawa Police Station gave a lecture on drug issues. The Athletic Club Liaison Council included an introduction to the Teikyo University Athletic Club Academic Award winners by Sports Bureau, a report on the UNIVAS AWARDS 2023-24 winners, and an explanation of athletic club advisors. Teikyo University Hachioji Campus conducts training sessions throughout the year for students belonging to athletic clubs and designated intensive clubs, and will continue to support human resource development, compliance awareness, and the development of athletic club activities.
