On Monday, May 20, 2024, Vice President Siam Choksawangwong and International Director Usane Krinthongprasat of Panyapiwat Institute of Management (Thailand), which has been implementing the Asia International Exchange Program (TAEP) with Teikyo University since 2015, visited Teikyo University. TAEP is a program established with the aim of developing human resources who will contribute to the development of Japan and the Southeast Asian region. Our university has signed agreements with universities in seven Southeast Asian countries, accepting international students and sending students to partner schools.
During a meeting with TUFS Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga on the day, both sides expressed satisfaction with the smooth progress of the cooperative relationship, centered on student exchanges, and as this year marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of TAEP, Vice President Siam presented a commemorative plaque. They also exchanged views on future cooperation in the fields of medical care and nursing, and the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere throughout. We hope that this visit will serve as an opportunity to further advance collaboration and deepen exchanges between the two universities.
