Hachioji CampusTeikyo University Rugby Football Club held the Teikyo Cup Tag Rugby Tournament

2024年6月2日（日）、帝京大学百草グラウンド（東京都日野市）にて本学Rugby Football Club主催のタグラグビー大会「帝京カップ」を開催しました。小学生や幼児などを対象に開催された本大会には多くの子どもたちが集まり、Rugby Football Clubが企画したミニゲームやレクリエーションなどに楽しそうに参加する姿がとても印象的でした。
Sixteen teams from upper elementary school participated in the match, and each team's hard work and practice were evident in their excellent plays, with heated battles unfolding from the very first match. The matches were pool and tournament matches, and Shichikoku Spirits (Hachioji City, Tokyo) emerged victorious with their excellent passing and disciplined defense. The winning team played an exhibition match against our university's Rugby Football Club, and both teams showed off their skills to the fullest, drawing applause and cheers from the crowd in attendance.

This tournament was made possible thanks to the support of the Sports Safety Association and the sports apparel brand BLK. We would like to thank them for their support. Our school will continue to hold sports events in close contact with the local community, creating opportunities for children to experience sports.
