Itabashi CampusStudents from Faculty of Medical Technology win prizes at the 11th All Japan Trampoline Age Group Championships

On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Hidemasa Toyoda (3rd year, Faculty of Medical Technology) participated in the 11th All Japan Trampoline Age Group Championships held at Yamato Civic Gymnasium (Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture) and placed 5th.

Toyoda has been involved in trampolining since he was a child, and continued the sport even after enrolling in Emergency Medical Technician Course Department of Sport and Medical Science at the same university. This time, he competed in the Open Category (Men's), which also served as the final selection to decide Japan's representative for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and achieved the brilliant result of placing 5th. Toyoda expressed his strong determination, saying, "Although I unfortunately missed out on representing Japan at the Paris Olympics, I would like to continue practicing hard in preparation for the Los Angeles Games in 2028." We look forward to Toyoda's future and ask for your continued support.
