A face-to-face ceremony was held for the Utsunomiya CampusDepartment of Department of Aerospace Engineering Helicopter Pilot Course

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the university held a meeting for the 2024 new students (15th class) of Helicopter Pilot Course in the Department of Department of Aerospace Engineering Faculty of Science and Engineering of Science and Engineering, at Alpha Aviation Co., Ltd. (Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture), a business partner of Teikyo University. In addition to studying basic subjects for aerospace engineering engineers at the university's Utsunomiya Campus, students in this course also take helicopter pilot training twice a week at Shimotsuma Heliport using the university's Robinson R22 flight training aircraft. In this course, students aim to obtain a private pilot certificate by the end 2nd year and a commercial pilot certificate by the end of 3rd year, and graduates go on to work as professional pilots for government agencies and airlines.

The ceremony was attended by not only the new students, but also faculty members of the university, company representatives, and seniors from the faculty and department courses. The ceremony included greetings from the faculty and department chair Takashi Hiramoto, greetings from the company's representative director Shizuo Saito, introductions of the new students, and greetings from a representative of the new students, marking the start of a new chapter for the 15th class. Our university will continue to provide a more fulfilling learning environment for students.
