Fukuoka CampusImplements Certified Physical Therapist Clinical Certification Curriculum to Train Certified Physical Therapists

On Sunday, March 24, 2024, Teikyo University Fukuoka Campus conducted an accredited physical therapist certification curriculum. There are 21 fields of certified physical therapists, and the University Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology is a training institute for certified kinesiology physical therapists with more specialized clinical skills.
In addition to 15 required courses such as "Assessment and Physical Therapy for Musculoskeletal Pain" and "Surgery Treatment and Physical Therapy after Muscle, Tendon, and Ligament Injury," which are offered in on-demand format, five elective courses such as "Assessment and Analysis of Posture and Gait and Practical Physical Therapy" were offered in face-to-face class format this time.
Makoto Seki, Department of Physical Therapy Professor, Hideyuki Hatanaka, Associate Professor, Masakatsu Kashiwagi, Senior Assistant Professor, Junji Dan, Senior Assistant Professor, and Rinji Maruyama, Senior Assistant Professor, used ultrasound imaging equipment, bone specimens, and motion analysis software to lecture eight physical therapists working in clinical settings, including graduates of the department, on the evaluation of anterior cruciate ligament injuries in the knee joint.
Fukuoka Campus will continue to provide more specialized education.
