The 15th Teikyo University Graduate School of Teacher Education Forum "Understanding and Supporting School Refusal - To Ensure Diverse and Appropriate Educational Opportunities" was held at theHachioji Campus

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the "Graduate Graduate School Graduate School of Teacher Education Forum - Focusing on Children" was held at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus, sponsored by Graduate School of Teacher Education Teacher Education.
This time, with the theme of "Understanding and Supporting Refusal - To Guarantee Diverse and Appropriate Educational Opportunities," Professor Minako Ito of Nara Women's University gave a lecture entitled "Understanding and Supporting Refusal of School Students" and "Based on the Current Situation of Refusal of School and the Act on Securing Educational Opportunities." A keynote speech was given on "Diverse support for the Afterwards, Hiroyuki Takasaki (1st year Graduate School of Teacher Education) presented a summary of ``Understanding and supporting truancy in schools.''
At the end of the forum, there was a panel with Professor Minako Ito of Nara Women's University, Hiroshi Maeda, Superintendent of Setagaya Junior High School (Special School for Non-attending Students), Katsutoshi Yamamoto, Counselor of the Education Department of the Tama City Board of Education, and Yasushi Fujii, Professor the Graduate Graduate School of Teacher Education at our university. It became a place for discussion and a lively exchange of opinions.
