This year's program focused on the theme of "Strengthening Collaboration with Vietnam in Infectious Disease Care and Acquiring Appropriate Infection Control Techniques." The program included lectures on medical safety at the School of Medicine of Tokyo Hospital's Safety Control Department, a microbiology course, hospital rounds by Pediatrics, Department of Infection Control and Prevention and Medical Engineering Departments, training at the Pharmacy Department, and visits to other medical institutions and off-campus facilities. Furthermore, at the University of Tokyo's Simulation Education and Research Center, participants participated in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation training program organized by the American Heart Association (AHA), with all participants earning an AHA certificate of attendance. Through close collaboration between industry, government, and academia, the ADC will continue to strive to serve as a bridge between young people in Asia and Japan, who represent the future, deepening exchanges through science and technology.
