We are planning to renew the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Science and Engineering and establish new departments.

Teikyo University plans to renew Faculty of Science and Engineering in April 2025 and establish the Department of Integrated Science and Engineering (tentative name) and the Department of Data Science (tentative name). The curriculum for current students in Faculty of Science and Engineering of Science and Engineering and those admitted in 2024 will continue beyond 2025, and the current four departments Faculty of Science and Engineering and Engineering will remain in place until current students and those admitted in 2024 graduate. We are planning to reorganize the four departments of Faculty of Science and Engineering (Department of Mechanical and Precision Systems, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, and Department of Biosciences) established on the Utsunomiya Campus and establish a new department. We offer courses in four fields: "Mechanical/Aerospace Course," "Robotics/Al Course," "Computer Science Course," and "Environmental Biotechnology Course." We are planning to install a new one on Itabashi Campus. Taking advantage of the strengths of a comprehensive university, you will study data science related to medical data and management data in collaboration with the medical faculty and Faculty of Economics. Based on the theoretical foundations of mathematics, statistics, and information engineering, we utilize problem-solving learning methods to develop data scientists who have the ability to create valuable information from data and utilize it in decision-making. .
