Special lecture and opinion exchange meeting held by Project Professor Asashima

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Teikyo University's Fukuoka Campus, a special lecture and opinion exchange by Makoto Asashima, Director of the University's Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization and Specially Appointed Professor, was held as part of FD activities to improve the quality of education. We held a meeting.
Specially Appointed Professor Asashima gave a lecture entitled "Education and Research at Universities," in which he talked about the issues of education and research in Japan's aging society with a declining birthrate, the current situation and efforts of our university, and the efforts of Fukuoka Campus, which focuses on collaboration with the local community. He gave a lecture about his future expectations.
After the lecture, there was an exchange of opinions and a question-and-answer session about the initiatives of the Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization Graduate School as well as the graduate degree program that Project Professor Asashima serves as the program director. In order to improve the educational and research environment for our university faculty, we will continue to collaborate and share information with Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization.
