On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Chen Taibin, Professor of the Department of Medical Department of Radiological Technology at Itabashi Campus University and Visiting Professor at our university, gave a lecture at a class held at the Department Department of Radiological Technology, Faculty of Medical Technology I-Shou University. Professor Chen is a prominent Professor in AI research in Taiwan, and since our university and I-Shou University concluded an academic exchange agreement in 2014, our students have actively interacted with them, with our students participating in symposiums held at I-Shou University. doing.

After an overview by Takahide Okamoto, Faculty of Medical Technology Department of Radiological Technology Professor, Chen Professor gave a lecture on deep learning in English, followed by explanations by Akari Matsushima, Faculty of Medical Technology Department of Radiological Technology Assistant Professor. The students listened attentively to the lecture despite their unfamiliarity with the language, and asked many questions during the Q&A session.
