Takumi Numata, a student at our university (second year Teikyo University Junior College), is aiming to compete in the American Formula 4 (F4), a motorsports category. Mr. Numata has been seriously involved in motorsports since he was 17 years old, and when it came time to choose a career path, he entered Teikyo University Junior College Department of Human Cultures, where he could graduate in two years and also study sports psychology and nutrition. The department focuses on seven subject groups: "Communication," "Intercultural," "Calligraphy," "Art," "Fashion," "Psychology," and "Sports" to deepen your understanding of people and culture and expand your future possibilities. We are aiming for In addition, you can take the same subjects as Teikyo University's four-year undergraduate program, and ``Sports Psychology'' not only covers the psychological aspects, but also builds trust with the target audience through sports and exercise guidance based on evidence from sports medicine science. You will learn how to deepen your relationships and how to plan and execute to achieve your goals. Mr. Numata is able to put these goals to use in his own competitions by setting two goals: a result goal of how long he will drive, and a behavior setting of how to drive technically. I am. Currently, Mr. Numata is traveling to the United States in November 2023 to become the first Japanese to participate in American F4, participate in test runs, negotiate with the local team, and return to Japan.
