Led by Shunta Shimotori, Assistant Professor at the esteemed Okinaga Research Institute, ClassQ stands as a beacon of unique educational programs. Its mission: to propel students into societal conversations and foster a mindset ready to address the complexities of the world. This installment of ClassQ, held on October 28, tackled the imminent challenge facing the logistics industry in 2024: "Even if you have things, you can't transport them." The university welcomed a representative from Minami Nihon Transport and Warehouse Co., Ltd., who shared insights into the hurdles and potential solutions for the industry. During the engaging question and answer session, students explored topics ranging from the working hours of drivers to the various efforts undertaken by companies. The discussion became a melting pot of ideas, fueled by the real issues raised by the participants.
A total of 16 individuals, comprising 8 students, 2 teachers, and 6 working adults, collaborated in teams with a mission: "Finding improvements and presenting action plans to make the transportation industry more attractive to young people."
