Hachioji CampusCollaborative Milestone: Teikyo University Museum and Hachioji City Local Museum Forge Partnership

In a significant stride towards cultural enrichment, the Teikyo University Museum and the Hachioji City Local Museum formalized a collaborative alliance on August 15, 2023. This accord heralds a new era of shared expertise and resources between the two esteemed institutions. The agreement, inked with an aim to foster proactive collaboration, marks the initial step in a promising journey. Together with the Department of Japanese Cultures within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Letters, an ambitious regional survey of the Yarumizu district of Hachioji City is already in the works.

The ceremony, graced by luminaries including Mr. Kiyoshi Kano, Director of the Hachioji City Museum, Mr. Koji Ozaki, and Mr. Masao Suzuki, Assistant Director of the Cultural Properties Division at Hachioji City Board of Education, resonated with a spirit of camaraderie. Deputy Director Kyoko Nakayama, Curator Atsuro Koda, Academic Information Group Manager Tomomi Yamashita, and Section Chief Tomomi Kawakita lent their presence, setting the tone for the auspicious occasion.
