In a poignant ceremony held at the Teikyo University Itabashi Campus on Thursday, March 30, 2023, Teikyo University President Yoshihito Okinaga conveyed commendations, honors, and medals to the esteemed family of the late Honorary Professor Kazuo Okada.

Professor Kazuo Okada, in his capacity as Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University's School of Medicine, devoted himself tirelessly to education and research within the School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Medical Research. His notable contributions extended beyond anesthesiology, encompassing groundbreaking research in respiration, circulation, and shock studies. We extend our heartfelt condolences for the loss of Honorary Professor Kazuo Okada, and convey our best wishes for the continued well-being of his family.
