Hachioji CampusJoin Us in Spreading Cheer: TGU Cheerleading Club Participates in "CHEER UP!" Initiative

Tokyo, March 16, 2023 – The Teikyo University Cheerleading Club has enthusiastically joined the "CHEER UP!" initiative organized by Amadana Sports Entertainment, starting from March 16, 2023. "CHEER UP!" aims to support hardworking students by delivering encouragement through thoughtful gestures. For our university's cheerleading team, contributions can be made starting from just one cheerleading scarf. All contributions gathered by the end of the project will be delivered to the team.

The primary objective of this project is to foster connections with those who have consistently supported and admired cheerleading. It also serves as an opportunity to introduce the allure of cheerleading to those who may not be familiar with it or have not previously shown interest. The desired item for contributions, as indicated by the team, is the team cheerleading scarf. Uniformity in attire not only strengthens team cohesion during competitions and joint practices but also unites spirits. Additionally, this scarf encapsulates the sentiments of both the cheerleading team members and the generous contributors. Thus, every time this scarf is worn, it serves as a reminder of gratitude towards those who continue to offer their unwavering support.
