Itabashi CampusTeikyo University Hosts Seminar on Optimal Transport Theory for Academic-Industrial Collaboration

A seminar sponsored by the Center for the Promotion of Academic-Industrial Collaboration took place on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus. The seminar aims to create practical research that will become the core of academic-industrial collaboration by providing a forum for the systematic study of different fields of knowledge. This year's seminar featured three-hour lectures on the subject of optimal transport theory from Professor Junichi Kotoku of Teikyo University's Graduate School of Medical Technology and Associate Professor Asuka Takatsu of Tokyo Metropolitan University's Graduate School of Science. The session began with friendly examples based on the university's campus and during the discussion, a wide range of topics were covered, such as delving into mathematical knowledge and its application in the medical field, making it a productive and insightful time.
