On Monday, December 26, 2022, Teikyo University Educational Corporation held an online signing ceremony with Khon Kaen Hospital (Kingdom of Thailand) to renew the MOU (International Exchange Agreement). Khon Kaen Hospital is a public hospital that was established in 1951 and is the main hospital in Khon Kaen Province in the northeastern part of Thailand. The first Trauma and Reconstruction Center in Thailand was established with the cooperation of JICA, and severely injured patients are brought in not only from Khon Kaen Province but also from surrounding provinces. Due to the large number of cases, young emergency doctors and trauma Surgery from Japan also come for training.

In 2019, we had active exchanges such as accepting a Surgery resident at Khon Kaen Hospital.
On the day of the event, OKINAGA Yoshihito, Chairman of the university, and Dr. KRIENGSAK VACHARANUKULKIETI, Director of Khon Kaen Hospital gave greetings, followed by a screening of videos About Teikyo University, followed by a signing ceremony.
