The Yamanashi Chuo Bank and Teikyo University Partner to Promote Industrial Development in Yamanashi Prefecture

On Monday, January 16, 2023, The Yamanashi Chuo Bank, Ltd. and Teikyo University announced a comprehensive partnership aimed at promoting industrial development in Yamanashi Prefecture. The agreement, which was reached between Mitsuyoshi Seki, president of the bank, and Yoshihito Okinaga, president and chairman of Teikyo, is expected to bring significant benefits to the region.
For the province's sustainable growth, the two parties will collaborate to advance the prosperity of neighborhood communities and reenergize the local economy.

Agreement Insight:

Following are some areas where both parties will work together to promote industrial development in Yamanashi Prefecture.

  1. Industrial partnerships with companies;
  2. Lifelong education including reskilling of industrial human resources;
  3. Promotion of local industries in the prefecture such as tourism, fruit growing, brewing, jewelry, traditional industry, among others;
  4. Matters related to students moving to the countryside and/or returning home, and 
  5. Financial education for students
