The Veritas Cup is an intercollegiate presentation contest centered on universities in the Kanto area. , 7 teams from Rikkyo University prepared research reports from their own perspectives and competed in presentation skills.

Terakawa's seminar's report is based on the fact that the business model represented by fast fashion and fast food, which are gaining momentum in modern Japan, are wasteful of natural and labor resources. It proposed a new sustainable business model that combines poverty relief. This award was given in recognition of his robust theme setting, broad perspective, and detailed argument.
