Hachioji CampusTeikyo University's Brass Band Club Shines at Annual Concert Despite Challenges of the Pandemic
On December 25, 2022 (Sunday), the 49th Regular Concert was held at the Teikyo University Hachioji Campus Curiosity Hall.
On the day of the event, the captain of the brass band club, Yugo Kita (third-year student Faculty of Economics), said, "I'm glad that we were able to hold a regular concert with the cooperation of many people. I'll do it," and the members performed a variety of songs, including the 1st marching stage, the ensemble symphonic stage, the 2nd symphonic stage, and the 3rd pop stage. Familiar songs, such as the Christmas song medley and the Disney medley, erupted in applause from the audience, bringing the stage and the audience together to bring excitement to the concert.
Finally, from the brass band director Tsuneaki Takeshima, "It was a year of anguish because I couldn't perform as I wanted due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection, but I was able to prepare for the regular concert.
