A special class was held at Hachioji CampusMass Communication Theory

On November 24, 2022 (Thursday), at the Hachioji Campus of Teikyo University, the personnel and recruiting staff of Nishio Rent All Co., Ltd. will be targeted at students who are taking "Mass Communication Theory" by Koichi Kinoshita, a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Liberal Arts. About 100 people participated in a special class that we invited. On the day of the event, Mr. Takamasa Tomii, Manager of Recruitment Section, Human Resources Department, General Affairs and Personnel Department, Mr. Ayami Inoue, Chief of the Section, and Mr. Fuyu Muraoka, Section Manager of Recruitment Section, will talk about BtoB (Business to Business) company public relations and occupation selection. Thank you. The company is headquartered in Osaka and is a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime listed company that develops business centered on rental and leasing of construction machinery.

Regarding corporate public relations, we call for thorough safety using public relations magazines at approximately 280 bases nationwide as internal public relations, and external public relations using an original system called "Mobi System" that can be freely used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Public relations activities that fuse analog and digital, such as the realization of car sharing of work vehicles that can be used, were introduced. In addition, we introduced our sponsorship of a soccer team and our unique initiative to create a lively atmosphere by decorating the walls of construction sites with paintings. He also explained examples of the operation of studios and 4K broadcast vans, which the company is currently expanding its business divisions, which can be one of the career options for students who are interested in media and content such as exhibitions and events. In a panel discussion moderated by Senior Assistant Professor Kinoshita, Mr. Inoue responded to a question about choosing a career by saying, "Although I was an active student, I hated standing in front of people. Since I started working on my feet, I've been able to find joy in continuing to do it, and I feel that I'm surprisingly good at it because I've been able to continue doing it. It's good to listen to people's opinions." Muraoka said, "I like talking to people and listening to what they have to say. My job is to stand in front of people. I get very nervous every time I stand in front of people, but I've been able to control my emotions after doing it a number of times." At the end, Mr. Tomii sent a message to the students, saying, "I want you to enjoy your student life and try things you've never done before to increase your experience."

A student who took the class said, "I tend to conclude that I'm not suited for this job, but if I try it several times, it's surprisingly fun and I realize that it might be suitable for me." I was able to hear a story that will be helpful for my future job hunting." At the end, Senior Assistant Professor Kinoshita commented, "Students who want to work in the mass media tend to look at TV stations and newspaper companies, but I would like you to look into corporate public relations as an option." It was a meaningful time.
