Participated in the 11th Omuta Hanakaido Project onFukuoka Campus

On November 13, 2022 (Sunday), 100 students from Teikyo University Fukuoka Campus participated in the "11th Omuta Hanakaido Project". This project is organized by the Michimori Omuta Network to make Omuta a city full of flowers.

On the day of the event, I planted North Pole and pansy seedlings in flowerbeds along Route 208 with other volunteers. It was impressive to see the students working together with a transplanting trowel in one hand and their lively expressions on their faces. The students who participated gave their impressions such as "I was able to interact with local people through volunteer activities" and "It was a meaningful time because I was able to experience things that I would not normally experience." The Fukuoka Campus will continue to promote volunteer activities.
