In the match, the forwards of TUFS dominated Meiji University from start to finish with a spirited scrum, and the match proceeded at the pace of TUFS. The BK team also endured tenaciously even when they were attacking to the goal line of their own half, and there were many occasions when they switched to attacking. Vice Captain Takamoto, who led the team to victory as the game captain in place of Chihiro Matsuyama (4th-year student, captain of the Faculty of Medical Technology), who was absent due to an injury, said, "After losing to Meiji University in the spring, the whole team worked hard. I have been working on both defense and attack in detail, so I think I was able to show some good points in defense today. This year, compared to last year, the entire team is conscious of teamwork. For example, when we score a try, we celebrate together, and when we make a mistake, we encourage each other.
