Students from our university judo club have won the right to participate in the Grand Slam Tokyo 2022

At the 2022 Kodokan Cup All Japan Judo Weight Category Championships held at Chiba Port Arena (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) from October 29th (Sat) to 30th (Sun), 2022, the Teikyo University Judo Club competed in the women's 52kg class. Mr. Ikusumi Omori (Faculty of Medical Technology 4th year) won the competition and was selected to represent Japan in the Grand Slam Tokyo 2022, which is scheduled to be held in December 2022. In addition, Ms. Akari Omori (2nd year, Faculty of Medical Technology), who participated in the women's 57 kg class, won 3rd place and was selected to represent Japan in the "Grand Slam Tokyo 2022". rice field.
