Itabashi CampusProfessor Sugimoto received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery 2022

At The 18th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery (WCES) Surgery held in Busan (Korea) on October 5 (Wed) ~ 8 (Sat), 2022, Okinaga Research Institute of Teikyo University Innovation Lab, Teikyo University School of Medicine Surgery Course Professor Maki Sugimoto received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Plenary Session "The metaverse and extended reality holography-guided navigation in endoscopic and robotic HPB surgery" and gave an award lecture.

The World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery is the world's largest conference on endoscopic Surgery. The Best Oral Presentation Award received by Professor Sugimoto was Awards for excellent research that contributes to the development of endoscopic Surgery research and clinical practice is. This award is for endoscopic surgery and robotic surgery. Metaverse and Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Development and implementation of holographic guided navigation using mixed reality Floor performance was evaluated. Upon receiving the award, Professor Sugimoto said, "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in this research.
