Hachioji CampusTeikyo Sports Supporters Association 1st Regular General Meeting

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the first regular general meeting of the Teikyo Sports Supporters Association was held at the Teikyo University Hachioji Campus Small Hall. The Teikyo Sports Supporter's Association, which was established this year, is made up of faculty, staff, students, alumni, etc. of our university who are interested in watching and supporting Sports Bureau and who agree with our purpose. The purpose is to support various activities related to sports and promote sports.

At the 1st regular general meeting, which is the actual kick-off of the association, proposals were made for the appointment of officers, business plans and budgets for the current fiscal year, and all of them were approved as originally proposed. In addition, a constitutional amendment to establish an advisory group consisting of faculty members from the university was approved, and 10 advisors were elected at the board meeting after the general meeting. The association has four teams, namely 1) publicity, 2) events, 3) medical high performance, and 4) marketing. We are planning projects such as an event to thank the fans of the sports club for implementation and strengthening, (3) surveys of concerns about sports club activities and diet surveys, and (4) creation of team-ordered wear and acquisition of sponsors. Yoshihiro Mori, Associate Professor the Center for General Education, who assumed the position of chairman, gave a greeting at the general assembly, saying, "Let's actively ask questions and opinions, with students taking the initiative, to revitalize sports at Teikyo University."
