Hachioji CampusSenior Assistant Professor Senior Assistant Professor and Owaki held lectures and workshops on product planning and development at the Takeo City Library and History Museum in Saga Prefecture.

In September 2022, at the Takeo City Library/Historical Museum (Takeo City, Saga Prefecture), Teikyo University Faculty of Faculty of Economics Department of Department of Business Administration Senior Assistant Professor Kohei Misaki and Teikyo University Department of Economics Senior Assistant Professor Junichi Owaki gave a speech to high school students and their For parents and guardians. Lectures and workshops on product planning and development through industry-academia collaboration were held. We received a request from Mr. Keisuke Yamamoto, a graduate of the Mimasu Seminar who got a job at Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., which is the designated manager of the Takeo City Library and Historical Museum, to implement this project.

At the lecture and workshop titled "Let's Experience Being a University Student - Product Planning with Current University Students in Tokyo," Senior Assistant Professor Miku first talked about the "Yogurt Project from Teikyo University" which is currently underway at our university. There were lectures on social implementation of research seeds and product planning and development through industry-academia collaboration. The "Yogurt Project from Teikyo University" is a collaboration between Senior Assistant Professor Miku and Kazuhisa Sekimizu, a specially appointed Professor Faculty of Pharma-Science Pharmaceutical Sciences of this university Professor and Hotaka Nakanishi, a specially appointed Professor and director of the University Teikyo Technology Transfer Center, for the purpose of regional revitalization. This is an industry-government-academia collaboration project that aims to develop new products as a social implementation of lactic acid bacteria technology. This lecture is intended to give back to society the research results of this project.

After a Senior Assistant Professor by Senior Assistant Professor, Mr. Owaki held a workshop on product planning and package design. In the workshop, high school students picked up their favorite "bottle", thought about the products to put in it and the exterior design of the "bottle" that would make the product stand out, and actually worked on the production. Shingo Kasahara (2018 seminar leader) and Mutsumi Ikeno (2021 seminar leader), who are graduates of the Misuzu Seminar, also participated in the workshop, and high school students, university students, and graduates worked together to create their own packages. I worked on it. Participants said, "I was able to think about what kind of design would be good to attract customers, and I was able to share ideas with my friends and university students." It was a good experience. I was interested in business administration, so it was a good reference for my career, and it was a lot of fun." In the future, we will continue to strengthen social and industry-academia collaboration, contribute to regional revitalization by connecting our “knowledge” to society, and deliver the results of education and research aimed at solving the mountain of social issues. I'm going to send it to society.
