Fukuoka Campusanatomy tour training

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022 Faculty of Fukuoka Medical TechnologyDepartment of Nursing 2nd year, Faculty Department of Radiological Technology 3rd year on Monday, June 6, 2019, Faculty of the Faculty on Tuesday, June 21 Department of Physical Therapy・Department of Occupational Therapy The second-year students practiced anatomy at Kurume University (Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture). Anatomy is the most basic and indispensable academic discipline for students who aspire to become medical professionals, so this practical training is conducted according to the learning flow of each department.

In the Department of Nursing, second-year students who obtained credits for structure and function I and function of the human body in the 1st year conducted anatomy tour training. More than 30 donations ranged from heart, respiratory, digestive, kidney, and blood disorders, and I was able to study real human anatomy, not two-dimensional. It was a precious 90 minutes to experience bioethics, starting with a bow and ending with a bow. The parts related to nursing techniques such as the running of blood vessels, nerves and muscles were carefully instructed by Department of Medicine students and the teachers of the gross anatomy class. The enthusiastic response to students who actively asked questions was a valuable opportunity to become a source of Team Medical Care.
In the Department of Radiological Technology, we have a tour of anatomy training in the 3rd year. Prior to this training, we conducted a 6-week review of anatomy to organize our knowledge. It is important for radiologists to grasp and inspect the position and shape of three-dimensional organs, and it is necessary to have the ability to imagine the structure of the human body from two-dimensional images. Through this training, students in the department were able to grasp the structure of the human body in three dimensions.
In the Department of Physical Therapy, students study bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, and internal organs in Anatomy I and II, which are held in the first half of the 1st year. Gain a better understanding of human structure through search and touch anatomy exercises. Since more specialized classes will start in the 2nd year, we are conducting this training to observe the bodies outside the university in order to organize the knowledge acquired in the 1st year and apply it to specialized subjects.
In the Department of Occupational Therapy, based on the knowledge learned in the anatomy I and II lectures held in the first half of the 1st year, we participated in anatomy training to observe the body. In the training, all the members observe the body, and the muscle running, the elasticity of the digestive organs and blood vessels, the running of nerves and tendons, the individual differences in the color and size of the brain, spinal cord, and organs, and the cancerous tissue I was able to gain a lot of knowledge that cannot be learned from textbooks and lectures, such as becoming harder than those around me.

We received explanations about each organ from students of Kurume University School of School of Medicine who are conducting dissection in each department, and while actually touching and observing the organs, we interacted with future doctors who will work together in Team Medical Care in the future. In addition, the training was a very meaningful opportunity for everyone to take the body seriously and observe the body to reaffirm the dignity of life and the determination to become a medical professional.
