On July 5, 2022 (Tuesday), a crime prevention service commendation ceremony was held at the Minami-Osawa Police Station (Hachioji City, Tokyo). Achievement) was awarded.
Our circle is actively involved in volunteer activities in cooperation with the university on a daily basis, such as cleaning the campus and volunteering to help students with visual impairments. Last year, we were promoted from a club to a club because of our achievements in various volunteer activities that put regional contributions first.
Since its launch in 2019, we have also been participating in the activities of the Minami-Osawa University Community Safety Volunteer Group, which is led by the Minami-Osawa Police Station Community Safety Division Crime Prevention Section. Activities that have been working to prevent crime in the community both inside and outside the university have led to this award.
Yusuke Enomoto (Faculty of Law, 4th year) attended the award ceremony as a representative of the club and commented, "We will continue to work with the power of young students to prevent crime and deter crime in the community." I was.
