After the Kanto Student Karatedo Championships held in May, a total of 25 people from our university participated in the 4th event of men's and women's shapes and kumite. Last year it was held without spectators, but this year it was held in a new way without spectators and wearing masks only during the match. Following the achievement of the double crown in the women's kumite and men's form, Masao Kagawa, the director and instructor of the Karatedo Club of the University, said, "Although it was a great achievement to achieve the third straight victory in the women's kumite, there were some events that did not lead to results. I saw the issues that I should tackle in the future for the team competition, so I would like to keep it in my heart and make use of it in my practice. "
For the Kanto University Karatedo Championships in October and the All Japan University Karatedo Championships in November, the club will work as one, including students who did not participate in this tournament, so warm support for the Karatedo Club. Thank you for your cooperation.
