Overview

As part of Teikyo University's community contribution activities, Teikyo University Mental Health Center provides psychological support to help improve the mental health of local residents. As part of this, Chisato Obara, Associate Professor Department of Psychology at Teikyo University, will give a lecture on mental and physical disorders in children.
Children may express their mental worries and stress as physical ailments such as stomach aches, loss of appetite, and fatigue. Children and students who are not attending school often experience these physical ailments. This lecture will explain the relationship between a child's mind and body and provide easy-to-understand information on how families can support their children when they are suffering from physical or mental ailments. After the open lecture, a tour of Teikyo University Mental Health Center will be held for those who wish to attend.
