A workshop was held at Tochigi Prefectural Oyama High School Inquiry Program atUtsunomiya Campus

On November 24, 2022 (Thursday), Teikyo University Faculty of Economics Economics Department of Department of Regional Economics Senior Assistant Professor Yu Song and seminar students of Senior Assistant Professor Song held a workshop at Tochigi Prefectural Oyama High School Inquiry Program, which is an initiative for high school-university collaboration.

Nine high school students who wish to study economics participated in this workshop. By announcing, it led to further awareness. In addition, under the facilitation of Mr. Song, Senior Assistant Professor students gave presentations on social security and tax reading, hands-on active learning using cards, and finally, discussions on tax increases with seminar students. Through this experience, it was an opportunity for high school students to deepen their practical understanding of taxes. Teikyo University will continue to engage in high school-university collaboration activities.
