Fukuoka CampusConcluded a partnership agreement on the utilization of digital technologies such as e-sports

On Monday, June 27, 2022, Teikyo University Educational Corporation (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yoshihito Okinaga) announced that Kimura Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saga City, Saga Prefecture, Representative Director: Takao Kimura), The Independent Administrative Institution National College of Technology Ariake National College of Technology (Location: Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Principal: Masao Yagi) and Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture (Mayor: Yoshitaka Seki) collaborated on the ``Urban Development Utilizing Digital Technologies such as E-sports'' project. We have concluded a collaboration agreement.
The purpose of this collaboration agreement is to contribute to the promotion of urban development by utilizing digital technologies such as e-sports to solve social and regional issues, create vitality, and develop human resources.

On the day, the university's Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga attended a signing ceremony held at Omuta City Hall, where the four parties exchanged an agreement. Our university will contribute to the promotion of urban development by taking on roles such as utilization, research and data collection in the medical and welfare field, demonstration experiments using VR, and participation in planning and management of student events.
