Entrance Fee Return Policy for Siblings in Teikyo University

Qualifications

Enrolled student who belongs to the faculties below, and also have brothers or sisters in the faculties.

Note: Entrance fees of the School of Medicine are excluded.
Graduate School of Teikyo University, Teikyo University Junior College, and other universities or schools of Teikyo University group are excluded.
Cases where a new student enters as their sibling graduates are excluded.
When siblings newly enrolled in the same academic year, entrance fees of only one student will be returned.

Requirements

・Have Japanese nationality or those from the countries not listed on the IELTS exemption countries

・With 5.5 or above in each of the four skills in IELTS Academic test [Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking]

・Recommendation Letter from their Dean of Faculty

The following fees are exempted

・Tuition: 7,200 GBP

・Accommodation (including catering fee): 8,000 GBP

・Field Trip Fees: 2,150 GBP

・Language School Fees: 6,500 GBP

・Round Trip Flight Fare: 1,500 GBP

・Other fees: up to 1,000 GBP

* Please note: the amount of money fluctuates depending on the status of the exchange rate.

Scholarship Period 1 year (from April to March)

Graduate School of Medicine Scholarships for International Students

Requirements Available to international students enrolled at the Graduate School of Medicine of good character and excellent academic performance who are experiencing financial hardship. Must be approved by the relevant academic supervisor.
Note: Not available to mature-age students
Quota No fixed quota; applications considered on merit
Stipend Exemption from all or part of the admission fee and tuition fees

Teikyo University's Scholaship for Privately Financed International Students with Good Academic Results

Requirements

・2nd year or above students in Teikyo University, Graduate School of Teikyo University, and Teikyo University Junior College

・Available to privately funded international students who have achieved the good results designated by the University

* Application is not possible for students who are receiving a monthly scholarship stipend from another organization exceeding in total amount the monthly stipend of The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students. Furthermore, simultaneous receipt of additional scholarship funding from another scholarship program used by Teikyo University is not permitted.

Tuition Exemption System for Personally Funded International Students

Requirements

Personally funded international students who fulfill all of the following requirements are eligible to apply

・2nd year or above students in Teikyo University and Teikyo University Junior College

・With 2.30 or above GPA in the previous year

・Receiving ¥100,000 or less in monthly funds (excluding tuition fee funds) from family and/or other sources

・If the applicant is a dependant of a person residing in Japan, an annual income of less than ¥5,000,000 for the financial supporter

* Application is not possible for students who are receiving a monthly scholarship stipend from another organization exceeding in total amount the monthly stipend of The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students. Furthermore, simultaneous receipt of additional scholarship funding from another scholarship program used by Teikyo University is not permitted.

Requirements

Available to privately financed international students enrolled in full-time courses at Teikyo University, Teikyo University Graduate School, Teikyo University Junior College and the Japanese Language Course (excluding research students), subject to academic performance criteria set out by the University.

* Students in the first year of study at Teikyo University, Graduate School of Teikyo University and Teikyo University Junior College cannot apply

Application period

・Full year (spring)
Application forms for full year scholarships are distributed at information sessions in early and mid April. Applicants must attend the information session. Dates and times are posted on the scholarships noticeboard.

・Half year (autumn)
Dates and times of Information sessions for half-year scholarships are posted on the scholarships noticeboard. Note that half-year scholarships may not be available due to budgetary restrictions.
