The 41st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Exercise Therapy was held from September 3rd (Sat) to 4th (Sun), 2022 at the Itabashi Campus of Teikyo University. The Japanese Society of Clinical Exercise Therapy has a history of more than 30 years, including its predecessor, the Clinical Exercise Therapy Research Group.
The 41st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Exercise Therapy was chaired by Professor Shinji Sato, Department of Sport and Medical Science, Faculty of Medical Technology, Teikyo University, and the theme was "Exercise is Medicine (EIM) in TOKYO."
The event began with an opening address by OKINAGA Yoshihito, the Chairman and President of the university, which was the host school, followed by a special lecture by Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki, former State Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, on the theme of "Promoting Well-Being Plans in Japan." While the movement to incorporate indicators has become active and trial and error has been carried out, he introduced examples from overseas and described the current situation and future prospects in Japan. In addition, Mr. Muneharu Nakagai, former mayor of Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, gave a special lecture, introducing the health promotion of citizens that has been promoted since 2009, and talked about the maintenance of health promotion facilities and the development and provision of smartphone applications for health points. was.
