Hachioji CampusTada seminar won the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Award at the 2nd Fitness Legacy 2021 Connection Exercise Video Contest

On February 18, 2022 (Friday), the “2nd Fitness Legacy 2021 Connection Exercise Video Contest” hosted by the Department of Sport and Medical Science Senior Assistant Professor Faculty of Medical Technology Production Committee was held. The entry for the May seminar, "Corona Repel Dance," won the top prize, the "Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Award."

With the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics as an opportunity, the Fitness Legacy Production Committee aims to contribute to society through the cooperation of multiple fitness coaching organizations with the theme of extending healthy life expectancy and creating and disseminating original programs through fitness. This contest was launched with the aim of improving people's physical and mental health, as new forms of fitness using web conferencing tools and distributed videos are spreading from face-to-face fitness so far. It was held with the aim of The Tada seminar has been learning about dance and aerobic dance exercise as a lifelong sport, and has submitted an original work to this competition as part of its seminar activities. The choreography that incorporates measures against the coronavirus that fits the times and the energetic appearance of the students have been highly evaluated, leading to this award.

Through these activities, we also contribute to the achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and in particular falls under SDG 3 "Good Health and Well-Being". Teikyo University will continue to support students' SDGs activities.
