Teikyo University and Durham University Renew Their Long-time Student Exchange Agreement

Teikyo University renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Durham University of the United Kingdom, where they agreed to continue their exchange program of students, faculty members, and research activities. Located in the city of Durham in northeastern England, Durham University is considered the third-oldest officially recognized university in the UK after the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
Teikyo University established the Teikyo Durham Campus within Durham University in April 1990 and has been engaged in various student and teaching staff exchanges. The Durham Campus is used by many of our students each year for learning and training, where they stay at the colleges of Durham University and participate in club activities.

The chairman and president of Teikyo University, Yoshihito Okinaga, visited the UK to participate in the MOU-renewal signing ceremony with the vice-chancellor and head of Durham University, Karen O'Brien. This agreement will promote exchanges of researchers, faculty members, and students, as well as joint research and a wide range of activities, not only in the academic field but in sports and cultural areas. Teikyo University will use the renewal of the MOU as an opportunity to further promote exchanges with Durham University.
