Improving team medical care and fostering specialists in community medicine
As medical science and medical technology advance dramatically, there is a need for a team medical care that meets the current situation of the community. The Fukuoka Faculty of Medical Technology trains medical professionals who can work at the forefront of advanced medical care. Students can learn specialties in each of the following departments: Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Occupational Therapy, Department of Nursing, Department of Medical Radiology, Department of Radiological Technology, Paramedic Course and Clinical Engineering Course at the Department of Medical Technology, and some common subjects with students from different departments to improve communication skills and learn Team Medical Care, which is essential for the future of medicine. We train specialists who can contribute to the community as medical professionals in an aging society.

Practical training on campus and in hospitals around the country deepens students' understanding of specialized knowledge, and through numerous practical training programs from the 1st to 4th years, students improve their knowledge and skills in order to pass the national examinations.
What is required in modern medicine today? Our graduates, who have acquired knowledge and skills that will be useful in society, have been active as skilled medical technicians in a wide variety of fields.
Facilities and Equipment Used by the Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology
Each department in the Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology provides practical and technical guidance by introducing the latest facilities and equipment that are actually used in medical practice, from the latest examination equipment such as MRIs and CTs to sickrooms and therapy rooms that replicate hospital facilities as they are in the real world.
The overseas medical training program at the Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology is excellent both in terms of quality and quantity. This program allows students to learn about the differences in the medical insurance systems of Japan and the United States through local seminars and facility visits, and allows them to experience American culture through various recreational activities.
