Establishment of Teikyo Study Abroad Center(Teikyo Study Abroad Center)and Aims.
Due to an increasingly globalized world and the population decrease below the age of eighteen years old,all universities in Japan have been required to put focus on internationalization, including the admission of international students. Our university also deems the process of internationalization to be a major priority and this established Teikyo Study Abroad Center(Teikyo Study Abroad Center)based on "Admission of 1000 international students plan ". This center dispenses advice and guidance for international students residing and studying here. This practice permeates all educational systems of The Teikyo Group and concludes the agreement focusing on the admission of Eastern Asian students and overseas dispatching of Japanese students. In order to create environments where international students feel that they have spent a valuable period of time, the cooperation and understanding of each campus's educational system's teachers has been required. However, when the scale increases, the unification of management of international student affairs and operations will become a new issue. By accomplishing this,I would like to make the best effort to improve the total quality of Teikyo University as well as The Japanese students.
Current conditions of admission of international students and entrance route
Currently there are 855 international students in total
including Teikyo Study Abroad Center Japanese Language Course, and 1095
international students including Teikyo University group such as Teikyo Heisei

from China and another 20 countries and areas such as United

There are various routes of admission to our
university but the main methods are listed below.
(1)Through the
exchange students special examination conducted in Japan
If
international students currently staying in Japan or working students wish to be
admitted as a graduate research student(non-regular student),they have to be
examined by the counselor of the related research section. After approval, they
are allowed to be admitted.
Please go to the advice counter of The
Teikyo Study Abroad Center for application.
(2)Conduct direct interview
meeting the student in China or Korea(or wherever they reside).
In the
case of China, the primary principle is that a student who wishes to have an
interview should go through the organization with certified personnel dispatched
around the country.
Interviews are conducted several times a year in
China. Regarding the interview date and place, please contact the advice counter
at the Teikyo Study Abroad Center .
Interviews in China are often
