Division of Management

Division of Economics: The important feature of this major is its interdisciplinary and practical research relevant to the advanced information society, among which sound accomplishments have been achieved in the theory and practice of tax law, and in highly original research into tourism economics. In addition, with a master's thesis on tax law, students can apply for exemption from the second subject of the Japanese state examination for certified tax accountants. In this division, study is not undertaken simply for the purposes of passing examinations, but to enable students to delve deeply into the study of the basic principles of taxation. Division of Management: This course was established with the aim of developing specialists who will lead the enterprise management of the 21st century: entrepreneurs, certified tax accountants, chartered accountants, analysts, and so on. The master's program in this division consists of three courses: an MBA, Accounting Systems (Sections A and B), and Information Processing Systems. In Accounting Systems Course Section B, with a master's thesis on research into accounting, it is possible for students to apply for exemption from one subject in accounting from the Japanese state examination for certified tax accountants.
