Department of Human Information Systems

In April 2008, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Systems and Department of Information Science were combined to establish the Department of Human Information Systems with ghuman beingsh as the key element. The Department of Human Information Systems provides training and education in information sciences and electronics with a perspective centered on humans so that students will become engineers and researchers contributing to human welfare. The course is designed to start with general basic subjects, covering the basics of general academic subjects, followed by more specialized subjects (basic and common) in science and engineering. From the second half of the sophomore year, the course is divided into three more advanced courses as shown below:
Information System Course: Specializing in software development and designing, computer and network systems.
Advanced Electronics Course: Specializing in electronic devices, materials, sensing (measuring technology), data processing, and communications technology.
Human System Course: Specializing in human science, robotics, and interactions between humans and systems.
