Department of Judo Therapy
The Department of Judo Therapy offers individually designed programs to help students become qualified Judo-Seifukushi, who can provide patient-friendly treatment. The Department was established in April 2008 in line with the school philosophy: to provide instruction in Judo Therapy along with a wide range of relevant sciences; guidance in the professional ethics required for medical professionals; and training to qualify as a Judo-Seifukushi, who helps people with various injuries recover their health and improve the quality of their life and, in future, contributes globally to humankind. Judo-Seifukushi provide gnoninvasive treatmenth to treat fractures, dislocations, sprains, bruises, contusions, and other injuries without surgery. Since some patients may require surgery or ginvasive treatment,h depending on the clinical characteristics of the injury, Judo-Seifukushi are required to possess the knowledge and skill to identify the gbest possible treatment for the patienth from a broad perspective, in cooperation with doctors. The Department of Judo Therapy provides students with a curriculum to achieve these goals while taking time to acquire the traditional skill, art and science of Judo Therapy.
