The fundamental aim of this department is the acquisition of a wide, specialist knowledge of business management, an emphasis on environmentally friendly business operation, and information management skills for application in management analysis and decision-making. Upon entering the university, students can select one of the following three majors: Management; Business and Accounting; or Sports Management. The curriculum has been developed on the basis of these three majors, the specialist subjects for each being grouped together in the curriculum. Further important areas for business management and common to all three majors are environment-related and information science-related subjects, making it possible to acquire a wide range of knowledge from the introductory level up to practical application. From this curriculum, students acquire a wide range of specialist knowledge and all-round abilities, learn about business management from theory to practice with an emphasis on practical skills and knowledge, and are assisted to develop into professionals with both problem-solving abilities and heuristic skills.
